I will surely be glad when tornado season is over and done with. I work and drive to locations in 10 counties in Northern Alabama and it will be months before they get restored to some kind of normal life now. Seems every day I get up and see on the news more tornadoes have hit somewhere. May God bless the families that have went through them already and the ones who are suffering at the moment by the latest rounds in Missouri and now in Arkansas. Lots of the heartland under watches now, and we are suppose to have some stormy weather here again tomorrow. Hopefully it won't get too severe.

I was speaking to Mr. John the other night while out fishing, and he told me that he was sorta thinking about not fishing this month's tourney................After asking him why not, he said oh, I don't have anything else going on, I just hate the thoughts of taking a chance on placing in another tourney and Randy taking and using that same photo again on the website. I ain't exactly sure if I was just thinking this, or he actually said it, but I remember something along the lines of I'm glad Randy is a better fisherman than he is a photographer........ This entire post was only put here in hopes to make somebody laugh today. Hope you got as good a laugh from it, as I did while typing it.

    Subject: EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

A young guy from Minnesota moves to Florida and goes to a big 'everything-under-one-roof' department store looking for a job.

The Manager says, 'Do you have any sales experience?'
The kid says 'Yeah, I was a salesman back in Minnesota ...'

Well, the boss liked the kid and gave him the job. 'You start tomorrow. I'll come down after we close and see how you did.'

His first day on the job was rough, but he got through it.

After the store was locked up, the boss came down. 'Son, how many customers bought something from you today?'

    The kid says, 'One.'

The boss says, 'Just one? Our sales people average 20 to 30 customers a day. How much was the sale for?'

    The kid says, '$101,237.65.'

The boss says, '$101,237.65? What the heck did you sell?'

The kid says, 'First, I sold him a small fish hook. Then I sold him a medium fishhook. Then I sold him a larger fishhook. Then I sold him a new fishing rod. Then I asked him where he was going fishing, and he said down off the coast, so I told him he was going to need a boat, so we went down to the boat department, and I sold him a twin engine Chris Craft Cabin Cruiser. When he said he didn't think his Honda Civic could pull it, I took him down to the automotive department and sold him that 4x4 Hummer that could..'

The boss said 'A guy came in here to buy a fish hook and you sold him a new BOAT and a HUMMER?'

The kid said 'No sir, the guy came in here to buy Tampons for his wife, and I said, 'Dude, your weekend's shot, you should go fishing.

Default Exercise for people over 40

    EXERCISE FOR PEOPLE OVER 40

Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.

With a 5-lb potato bag in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.

Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato bags.

Then try 50-lb potato bags and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level.)

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each bag. Rofl

1- One Important Lesson - Always remember those who serve.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less,

A 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and

Sat at a table.. A waitress put a glass of water in

    Front of him.

"How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked.

    "Fifty cents," replied the waitress.

The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and

    Studied the coins in it.

"Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired.

By now more people were waiting for a table and the

    Waitress was growing impatient..

    "Thirty-five cents," she brusquely replied.

The little boy again counted his coins.

"I'll have the plain ice cream," he said.

The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on

The table and walked away The boy finished the ice

Cream, paid the cashier and left.. When the waitress

Came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the

Table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish,

Were two nickels and five pennies..

You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had

To have enough left to leave her a tip.

    The Obstacle In Our Path

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a

Roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if

Anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the

King's' wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by

And simply walked around it.. Many loudly blamed the

King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did

Anything about getting the stone out of the way.

Then a peasant came along carrying a load of

Vegetables.. Upon approaching the boulder, the

peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the

stone to the side of the road. After much pushing

and straining, he finally succeeded. After the

peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed

a purse lying in the road where the boulder had

been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note

from the King indicating that the gold was for the

person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The

peasant learned what many of us never understand!

Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve

    our condition.
