Man, I hate Las Vegas. I wish I was home instead fishing. I have spent way too much time out of town these last three and four months, but maybe its mostly over now.
I hear the weather dont seem suitable for fishing this coming saturday and its got me bummed out about it. I think I am better than Beau though. My wife told me he has been pretty depressed since I been gone on yet another week of being out of town. I get home about midnight friday night though and hope I dont have to go away for several months again. I attached a picture Sherry sent me of Beau.lol He does look like he misses me.Rofl

Yea, I was depressed when he told me he was cullin!! I struggled to get 2! I guess the deep water bite is pretty much over until the water gets hot>

Hey guys, When the water cools in the fall and through winter, in reaches it's maximum density at around 39 degrees and begins to sink. Water colder than this stays above this as it has less density, hence ice floats. It takes a long cold period for a winter stratification. The cold water sinks and mixes as it does this. The stratification does not start until the mixing is done and a thermocline can develope. Southern winters don't typically last long enough. Kinda raises more questions than it answers.

WE had a lot of 38 or 39 water around here for a couple of months.

I just remembered that we have this off topic area for venting etc, so I am going to express what I feel right here so it get's out my system without any damages.lol Two different times now, that I am sure I remember and it may of been more, but for two times now, this one boat in particular has come way, way too close to me and disrupted my fishing while the lake was wide open and he had no reason to get even near me. Why in the world would anybody come by you wide open 50 feet from your vessel and your on one side of the lake? Then after dreaming about this again last night, I realized I have my feelings bottled up inside about it cause I dreamed about what I might do to get back at him and that is not good. In all seriousness, two wrong's don't make a right, but if I ever catch this guy at the ramp, I am going to let him know I don't appreciate being ran over to save him 7 seconds more to fish with. This boat I won't describe here, but I know exactly what the boat looks like. I will say it's very different in color to most boats. Both times I had issues with him was on Normandy. I feel all better now.
