    Default Woods Lower End

Got on the water late today, almost 11, but caught fish almost non stop till quiting time. Fish were around a 20 foot average today, unlike yesterday when it was 25 to 33 or so. Most all the fish were relating to the river channel edges and deep structure.Tried the point today for Steve since he is out of town and did not catch many crappie there. The stripe have taken that whole area over. Fished it maybe an hour, but left cause the stripe were awful. Decided early that today was a catch and release day and did just that. Im sure we caught something over 30 today but they were all caught and released. The fish are stacked up on those ledges and the ledge I was on is off limits in two days. Found a spot I never have fished before and I have seen others there many times, and now I know why.It was mad with tree tops and brush that would hang you up in a minute but it was sure full of crappie though.

Well I was told by a friend that the lower end is definately closed for the ducks now. Guess its time to explore dock shooting with Todd, David and John over on Tims Ford while that seems to be working.Bought me 2 packs of those Bobby Garland BlueGrass jig bodies today and will be heading over once I can get away for a few hours.
