Thread: Headed to Woods this morning

Headed to Woods Res this frosty cold morning. Its gonna be a chilly day to say the least.Will be last weekend to fish the lower end so I am bundling up and heading out.Stop n say hi if you up there today.

Had a great catching day on Woods today.Started out a little slow but as the day went on it got better and better. Caught most of them in 25 to 33 fow.They were all tight to cover and or the bottom and none bit very aggressively. I carried 15 very nice fish over to my brother n law for cleaning.I was just too bushed to keep them.I didnt take a photo but had some really nice sized crappie.Didnt keep anything even close to 10 inches.Threw all those back and there were many throw backs today.Seen BigOrangeSlab on the water today and he and his son fished pretty close to us for a couple hours.They had a great day catching today as well.
