Thread: Back to panfish

After chasing walleye most of the summer I decided it was time to give the panfish a try again.
I really was looking for perch, buttttt, crappie, bluegill, perch they all eat good
Was supposed to fish with a friend but he got a hot date at the last minute so I went solo.
Had to use a day and a half of vac or going to lose itNO!!!!!
So got to Morrison lake around 10:30 , and started looking.
I have not fished it for close to 20 years, after they downsized the parking.
Anyway, 14-15 ft of water east end
South shore, took a bit of searching but found a bit of everything, most on a simple two hook perch rig, wax worms were best.
65 deg water, good day.
Will be back tomorrow with a friend (maybe)
Have to work till 10 dang, need to be retired!!!!
