The decals I ordered arrived yesterday so I just had to go. Dickerson Lk in Montcalm Co. never gives up many per trip but they're usually good. Trolling #4 & #5 Purple Tiger and Chrome Clown Flicker Shad. Did lose three or four on the way to the net but these are enough for a meal for my wife and I.

Nice catch! Always good to get out and catch a few. Have to meet up on the lake sometime. Sparty and I both have Sylvans with the stickers on em. Sounds like we fish a lot of the same waters.

It does appear that we're in the same area. My next task is to learn how to troll or drift jigs. I'm going to build a spider rig tree and hope to have a 16' & a couple of 14' rods by the start of next year. I can see how hovering right over a school could be very effective.

I'll be fish less and less now. It's time to start working the bird dogs regularly. My winter fishing consists solely spearing pike.

I'll have my decals on this weekend. If you spot a 14' Sea Nymph with a bow mount trolling motor sporting Crappie.com tags, swing by!

That is the one west of stanton, correct?
i used to fish that lake a lot, did quite well on crappie, but rarely any over 12 inches.
has some nice gills also, just kind of hard to locate unless they are on beds.
glad to see you got some on the flicker shads.

Steelguy, yes that is the lake. Its very stingy but its close to home and the few it gives up per outing are good ones.
