Michigan Kinda Crappie Camp
So for reasons we could not control we had to cancel this years crappie camp.
As luck would have it, for Father’s Day my sons Steve Jr and Chris, along with Grandson Aiden decided to go to Houghton Lake fishing.
Dale and Janice Wicklund have a seasonal spot so we met up with them, Dale said we would be wasting our time fishing Houghton Lake and suggested we drive to Saginaw Bay for Walleye which we did.
We caught enough for a big meal with the Wicklund’s and as luck would have it Larry and Sandy we’re staying at the campground as well so we all got together and ate fresh Walleye, caught up on what everyone has been doing.
Kevin was also out Walleye fishing on Saginaw, sure wish he would have been able to join us too!
