    Default 1st New Boat Crappie

Amid all the doom and gloom, I spent Friday sorting out some of the remaining items of my deceased fathers stuff.
That whole idea turned into a Friday, night, all day Saturday, and about an hour on Sunday job. Had to move 3 trailer, 2 motorcycles, and get the hog roaster out.
And still have some paperwork to sort though.

Sunday I got a call, "OE, You want to go fishing?"
"HE Double Hockey Sticks, Yeah, Im going to Gun Lake"
"OK, I'm @ Green I will meet you later"

Sure enough, While I was out relaxing, I see Skillet arrive. We found some fish, on the graph, where I had been long lining, but they ended up being Striped Carp.

Then a move to the Laughing Lady'd place, and nothing biting there. Then to the canals, and BAM, the water was around 50 Degrees, and it was game on.

Skillet got a picture of me doing something, what I do not know. He probably was getting a good chuckle, as I had "FREAK ISSUES" meaning I was worried about the boat.
I have almost sized myself out of small location fishing. I say that because at one point, the rear of the boat decided to try and pass the front while in the canal.

Um, did not take long to realize that the boat is almost as long as the canal was wide. When that happened, there were no other boats or property to be worried about other than my own. meaning the boat its self.
While over by Skillet, there were boats, docks, all sorts of stuff.

I probably would have been more comfortable in my old boat, because I was so used to it. This new one, well, I was not quite ready for that much of an enclosed area, but it was a great learning experience. Even if Kevin was laughing at me.

OH, and also all the Crappie I caught were on PLASTICS, It sucked too, not as productive as a minnow for me in the past, but I did finally get some Crappie using plastics.

I have my First Walleye, First Crappie, now I just need my first King Salmon, and I am all set.

I am still struggling with the Motorguide, The struggles with the Lowrance, and becoming less, but that Motorguide.......
