Made a trip to the urologist yesterday, they found a large prostate and a bump on his bladder, which can be signs of cancer......not saying that’s what it is but they want to check into it further. So Monday it’s off to get bloodwork done.

When the Dr. told him Cancer was a possibility, he said “ Well I’ve had a good life....(then looking at me) let’s go fishing.

Darn right Dad, we will be going!

I have only fished with my dad once, out on Erie in 2004 for Walleye. He’s fished a fair amount, even in Canada. But we’ve never fished together, looking back, I don’t know why other than he was busy with his tractors and I was busy building peoples dreams.

    Sad......we get so busy.

sure hope you can get fishing with him.
my dad fished a bit when my brother and i were very young kids , then like you life got in the way.
my dad and mom are supposed to stop out tomorrow to watch me make syrup, it will be there first time as they are usually in Florida , but sold there place last year.
I really cherish spending time with them i need to make it a point to stop in and see them more, they live on the north side of Grand Ledge.
hoping for a good diagnosis with your dad

Start planning Steve and you and your Dad go fishing as often as possible. I wish I could have made some more fishing trips with my Dad. I cherish the ones that we did go on.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Steve, last time I fished with my Dad? Was the last time I seen him alive. Get it done.
