    Deer season seems abnormal.

I’m home again after hunting last night.

Kid closes on his new house @ 10, so am helping him pack and get stuff ready to move.

As soon as closing is done, it’s the enclosed trailer to bid new place, and unload

Some time I will get to hunt this week........

To clarify even further, Chris got named "possum" the day we were going perch fishing and he was eating some type of breakfast sandwich that smelled like over ripe road kill possum. The part closest to the tail. From that day forward he was no longer Chris or Chumlee, he was possum.

I can attest that he has been properly nicknamed.

    Well,
After missing a whole day yesterday, and for good cause.

Spent day helping Kid get moved into his new house.

Then getting the vacated space @ my place taken care of.

Today finds me back in the blind for the morning.

    Doing more texting than hunting.

Told SpartanNation, I need to hunt the roads as I see more crossing the roads than in the woods this year.

Has some Finch’s attack my blind, that was entertaining.

Saw a Woodpecker on a tree adjacent to me, about 2 foot away, that was neat.

What’s not neat, is no dang deer. However this spot has been known for bad mornings, but great evening’s.

The story behind this big boy is amazing and sad, just as Steve told his grandson but with a whole different meaning!!
The amazing part about him and many others I’ve seen that were bigger, is they all have roamed the streets and backyards throughout my neighborhood.
The sad part is I drove over 3hrs round trip this past long weekend in search of a nice buck or a deer period and not a one deer to shoot at. Well the buck in that pic i found down at the end of my street on my way home from work to get ready to go north for the weekend, he was apparently hit by a car. Bad thing is that the only deer I had to think about all weekend 4 Legged Furry Crappie Camp 20194 Legged Furry Crappie Camp 2019

    Been a busy day,

Saw only birds this AM,got asked to go to Sag Bay, but had to decline.

Have an appointment for my old boat @ 10:30 to get the Hours pulled from the motor.

Can’t take the new one cuz, waiting on Registration letters.

So I’m home during the lunch time, and search for an hour for Kerosene so I could get my garage up to T Shirt conditions. The plane was to remove the old Wisconsin Stuff, and prep for new Mi Registration.

Only to find out my dang torpedo heater won’t function properly.

So I checked the wiring on the batteries, and was confused about the 36v wiring in place only to figure out they a Negative had a positive red cap on it.

Hope registration letters are done by 5:00pm tomorrow.

If so Thursday might be the first test trip.

Back in the blind now, with my manual for my heater and the hopes of some dang deer.
