Default Michigan Man 86 and Fishnsips

Well I finally got the trap down to my grandson. He absolutely loved it and wanted to try it in the pool at the KOA. haha We made him wait to try it at home in their pond. So far he has caught a few bream and minnows. He caught a large bass in his last trap. I cut off all the little burs and rigged a bungee to keep the bait holder and another to keep the release door closed. Of course he occasionally retrieves it by jumping in instead of pulling it in by the rope. What can I say, he loves water and anything to do with fishing, trapping or even cast netting. Here are a couple pics of him. The third is the bass he caught in a trap last year.

Great pics. Whats a big bass like that doing going into a small trap. Kinda wild, but cool. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks fantastic and a big fish to boot!
I've had so much fun with that trap design, so glad to see he is enjoying it with gusto. Thank you for the update!
