It has taken almost a month but we have finally figured out "patience". I started with treat training and using the word "watch it". Eventually I could put a treat on my leg (while sitting) and he would not take it until I said "OK". We then moved on to feeding. I would make him sit, fill his bowl, and then put it down while telling him to watch it. Now, I can walk away and he will not eat it until I tell him ok. He is however a bit of an oger. You have to leave him alone or he will eat faster than he already is. Because we feed his sister at the same time (peetie) he would finish first and then go bully her out of the way to eat. We would have to lock her in the bathroom or upstairs until she was done. I can now tell him to "watch it" and he will not touch it.

His reward for watching his sister eat is that he gets to lick the plate clean when she is done!

Rich, he's a big boy! Nice looking, too. I'm training Knucklehead to be a fire fighter. I'm pretty sure he could single handedly (pawledy?) put out most house fires. He came with an oversized tank.
I swear charlie never fully emties the tank!
I see you have dropped something.... I'll wait till you are done

Knucklehead got a possum last night. We could throw that in the mix.

That's a cool pic! Did she get a bird?
We seen several good size flocks, but they all landed in a field we don’t have permission to hunt and they were not coming into our decoys.....so no, BUT, she behaved very well and that was a huge success for me.
