I was told that the price went up for nonresident fishing, again
It was 1000 for the lifetime sportsmen license. Dad and I both wish we would have done it. Like you said Jerry, money was tight back then.
My grandpa did it but, because of a senior license price, he never recouped the money. He saw it as a way to help the game and fish population though.

I'm see it's 76.00 here in Michigan. What did it used to be?
I pay 60.00 a year in Louisiana or I could pay 5.00 a day.
The older I get the more I realize the therapeutic benefits of fishing

Do they still offer the LT licenses?
Or did they do away with them?

Maybe I was told wrong, but we are not going to buy two this year. I talk to a few people who are not going to renew.
Non Resident annual - $76.00
24hr (Res or nonres)- $10.00
72hr (Res or nonres)- $30.00
I'm not sure what the non resident used to be but I beleive it was less than this for last year. I could be wrong though. It has been awhile since I purchased a license in another state so I have nothing to compare prices with.
I have OCD "Obsessive Crappie Disorder"
I try to forget the cost of fishing and camping last year,it gives me hope for this year.
