Today we made the 1:15 drive to fish Poverty Point in Delhi, La. Reports have not been good but we always fish it at least once and the weather was supposed to be warmer and less windy than yesterday. Warmer, yes, 48 instead of 38 but the wind was just as bad. The water was 48-51 and the Name: IMG_20190305_103445627_HDR.jpg

We each caught one hybrid striper (Jeff sent Michelle a text that we got two strippers), Jeffs was 19" and about 3 pounds and mine was 21 and plump with eggs, probably pushing 5 pounds. Thats it! Tough day for sure but it's better than shoveling snow.

Tomorrows trip will be to Caney Lake so stay tuned.Name: image000000 (1).jpg
