Acronyms trip me up too......seems easier to just type it out so everyone knows what is being said. Quite often I will ask someone (Erin) to type it out so we understand......which brings me back to......JUST TYPE IT OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Off my soapbox now.....

MICDC is basically our branch of the main Crappie Dot Com forum.

As you will see (or have already seen) we are a group of guys and gals that enjoy the outdoors and the company of like minded individuals. We are NOT the "good ol boys" network. We accept people with open arms. Once we get to know you, we tease you because we like you!

Many of us often fish together whenever we can. Before crappie dot com, I had a hard time finding people to go fishing with and who enjoyed to do the things I like to do. People that had the same mindset as me. Now, the majority of the people I fish with are from crappie dot com. It isn't to say we always crappie fish (because that isn't the case). Many of us walleye fish, pan fish, perch fish, and do other things together. We usually have a couple of camps every year (see the sticky at the top of the page) where we get together, enjoy each others company, meet new people, and have a great time.

Unlike other sites, crappie dot com is a family friendly place where your opinion is respected. Personal attacks, harsh language, and controversial subjects are not tolerated. Basically, people can feel free to post questions, ideas, and opinions, without the feeling that they will be ridiculed for it in a negative way. It is, in many of our opinions, the best forum on the internet. Not just the best fishing forum, but the best forum in general.

Thanks. I truly believe I will enjoy being a part of this group. I saw about the spring camp. Would love to be there but already have a Kentucky fishing vacation planned starting June 1-7. Maybe next time. Hopefully I’ll get to meet up with some of you on the water.
