Been an eventful week end so far. Jeff had a long week end so Friday we drove down to Dundee to start shopping for items for the spring camp. I thought my issues with their brick and mortar stores was that I was going to the small store in Grandville. Wrong! The big store didn't have a lot of the sale items we were looking for, even though their on line inventory said they did have it. Very frustrating.

Next we decided to hit Bass Pro to see if they were any better. Jeffs gps put us on 23 south, we thought we were going to hook up with 75 north. Couple of exits south we were told to get off and head east. Then south. Then west. Then back south on 23. Next thing we knew, we were in Toledo and heading to their Bass Pro, not the one in Michigan. Nice, big store but still not a lot of inventory of sale items.

Saturday we met Steve at his house at 7 am to go to the Ultimate Fishing show. Aroung Webberville Jeff chirps from the back seat that they didn't open until 10:00 so a stop in Fowlerville for breakfast was made. Being at the event center an hour early paid off for us, front row parking, a free K&E bass wormand a free Franks bucket. Great show to attend, if you fish walleye, bass and salmon. Us pan fishermen had little to look at. Lots of cool boats, though. Finally made it home just before dark.

Long couple of days and lots of miles traveled. Today it's a do nothing day.

Today I am out in my shop with the heat on. Going through my Walleye jig and plastics inventory to keep me out of the house. Ice fishing gear is still out in case an ice fishing trip happens.

I made a cutting board as a giveaway gift at Christmas, the guy who won it was from Canada....$61.00 shipping fee and a customs form was needed. He got it a couple days ago and quickly used it out Walleye fishing to clean his fresh catch so he could do a fish fry on the ice. He is thrilled to get it and making good use of it.

Went to the Ultimate Fishing show yesterday and worked at the Fishing Complete booth, which was fun and great to meet some people.....only thing I bought was some lure keepers which are going to a friend in Florida to try out. Had the usual good time with Jerry and Jeff......even though I may appear grumpy, I had fun.

Steve I have a question about your Engle cup you had on your video...Is the bottom the same size as the Yeti cup? I'm looking for a little bit bigger bottom cup...

The difference is that the Engel has a rubber base attached to prevent it from sliding.

I think they all try to make them the same size in order to fit in a standard drink holder in a boat, car, or ATV.

No kidding? Too big or too small?

Might get a bonus from one of the companies if you point that out.
