Those shows from back in the day were the best anyway. I wanna do the same. It reminds me that over the air TV ain't that bad every time we take a trip with the 5th wheel and watch "over the air". And really, the ATT hot spot we use while in the 5th wheel ain't bad either. So hopefully we'll be cable free (we got comcast) some day too.

I got tired of paying for stuff I don't watch. On top of that, they could simply delete channels as they saw fit. If I signed up for something because of a channel and they dropped it, I was out of luck.

I hadn't watched football in 5 years, didn't care about most of the garbage, so it was easy. My daughter and wife have Amazon prime. I had it but found it a waste as well. I cast my phone with my TV and watch YouTube. A lot of interesting people produce some great stuff. Gridlessness is my favorite right now.

I put the second goose of the season in the “jalapeño and cheddar sausage” stock.

Miss Emma looks as if to say “ You expect me to retrieve that? It’s almost as big as me!”

Keep knocking them down, Steve. When you get enough I'll make a batch of summer sausage for you. If you don't get enough, I'll use up last years venison burger and make a batch. Either way we'll have some to take.

    Sparty,

You taking that to the MSU/U of M game with Steve? & you thought the DR was packed.........

I just finished up a split batch of Cheddar & Pepper Jack. 2 weeks ago, I helped Skillet make a Pepper Jack/Jalapenos batch.
As for the high temp cheese, I like it, I can add enough that I don't have to buy cheese to go with the sausage. Just crackers, makes fishing clean u and packing for a trip easier.

I need to make room in my freezer, so will be making some Jerky shortly as well.

Made some BBQ Crappie wrapped in bacon last night, same way I do Walleye, but needs to change a few things. Crappie was either to "Flaky" or mushy, where Walleye holds its form and cooks into a nugget batter.
In all it was OK. Enough that the rest of them came to work with me for the sole purpose of visiting me during lunch.

    Good
job on the goose, Steve. I used to chase them all over the country.
Made a lot of jerky with them.

Yesterday we drove up to Charlevoix, Judy got the ok from the Dr., that her foot is 100% so we took Aiden and Emma up for some rock/stone picking along the beach next to the lighthouse.
She got the stones she wanted and Emma got to experience Lake Michigan.....she is definitely a water dog!
Stopped at Jays on the way home but walked out empty handed.
