If you trust your mechanic you have half the battle won I was told pretty much the same thing when I put tires on the Dodge, went to a Dodge dealership and told them they could have the job it was under warranty.
They told me that the frount end was ok. For a truck with 80k on it.
I talked to a lawyer about a will and trust yesterday and although the cost was reasonable, l would sure like to put the money in the boat.
I always grin when people say that renting is costing them to much money, if I had a house, I could save money.

Holy iceburg, Batman. You should see the Grand River in Portland. The ice jamb has the water and ice backed up and rising fast. Today they shut down all bridges in town that cross the Grand because ice is up to the I beams. Wednesday it was about 4' below the beams. Areas are flooded that haven't been flooded sine the 50's. With the cold weather it's only going to get worse. Lots of cops in town shutting down streets and evacuating those in low lying areas.

Wow! That's impressive. Frightening, but impressive.

Good pictures, Jeff. The last 2 show how much it's risen. Yesterday it was maybe 4' higher and all the roads Jeff was on are under water. The row of lights in the first picture is close to where the river bank is. Earlier this week a mom let her kids, maybe 10 years old, go out on the river ice. I saw the pictures and it gave me a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.

As someone who has only seen ice once like that, but has lived in flood zones most of my life, it looks awful. Praying for the area and people. God bless. I have cleaned and rebuilt a few flooded and hurricane damaged places. That is all work and cost. No fun involved. I can only imagine what the element of cold must do. At least everyone I was involved in, it was not cold.

Danny, the troubles are just starting for these folks. After the water goes down, most won't be able to move back in because power has been shut off leaving them with no heat. Last night it got down to the low teens so burst water pipes and water heaters are going to happen. The town will survive, though. June 2015 a tornado went through the town and made quite a mess. What's next, locust?
