Glad you liked it, Steve. Simple but good. How did you like the trail bologna? Too spicy for you? I want feedback, good and bad.

It was good, I had just a couple slices to try. Not sure about the after taste, probably the cheese or a cold beer would eliminate that.

The heat does sneak up on you. I like it but if you're not into spicy it may be too much. I did try it with some of the white cheddar and it was real good.

    Pickling it always works!

I have some stuff to make myself. Getting to be about that time I start taking this hunting thing serious. Ya right!

I relayed the info that Steve wanted some Jerky.

The gauntlet was thrown down by my 15 year old Daughter.

I even let her call him.....

Her message was (If your not willing to wrestle for it, you must not want any that bad)

Have to tell you, I’d pay to watch Steve try and work his way past Rylee, Austin & Avalon, but Olivia, my 13 year old Daughter, that’s a Pay Per View event..........

All of that jerky meat looks so good. I don't think it would last long in my house, and it's just my brother and I.

Default 2018-4 Legged Furry Crappie Camp

    Update:

    16 lbs has been thawed..........
Dried, & rolled into thick paper towels for 2 hours to soak & remove any excess fluids.

The marinade listed above has been completed.

(It’s really not allot, just detailed so a Pollock can’t screw it up)

Some time between 9 & 11, I will add the meat to the marinade, and then mix.

Twice a day for 3 days, with a wooden spoon.

Then onto the racks for drying and eating.......

That last picture is allot like me, not much to look at, but OH SO AWESOME...........

Had to say that so Steve, Skillet007, & Jimmy all roll their eyes............

Well Sparty, I shared some of your jerkey, and you’ve been paid the very high compliment of “That’s really good, I’d rate it right up there with Gustafson’s”!
Those of you who know Gustafsons in the UP..... that’s quite a compliment!
