    Default Inexpensive fishfinder install

    www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGWv02wzKio&t=37s

I had a fishfinder in the shop for a couple years, I believe it was off the Tracker I had as well as some leftover starboard. We had a family get together on Sunday and I thought it would be a great time to do a video with Aiden to help out......a little surprise visitor walked in at the end, so little man made his debut on YouTube!

As Rich said.......building YouTube one video at a time.....

I sure do trip over my words at times......but it's fun.

    I laughed a few times.

My favorite part was attempting to run the transducer behind the bracket. Does that not have a disconnect on the back of it?

I like all the videos. Especially your dads tractor collection. A good idea might be to do some interviews with your dad. You can preserve his legacy and probably get some great stories others would be interested in.

No disconnect Rich, what I did was remove the bolt that connects the steel bracket and the plastic transducer, then it slipped right through.

I figured that is what it was. I remember those old ones didn't have a disconnect. You like that starboard trick don't you!

    Thanks Doug

I haven't had the chance to get down south to fish for mahi-mahi yet, but I did take that new outfit out with OE salmon jigging (no fish but that's normal when you fish with Aaron ) I figured if that combo could handle a salmon, it should be ok for the Mahi. Next trip offshore I'll be packing it along.
