IWe have met the folks at the stores, very nice people. They say the cool down will really help the fishing.

This is yesterdays catch. Weather has turned around, in the 50's today and wind and rain. This cold front is supposed to turn the fishing on.

The first one is the toughest. We've done good in Louisiana with shiners under a slip bobber. What were you using?

We caught some smaller ones up in the Bayou on Crappie Thumpers. I got this one on a #5 Shad Rap. Minnows and bobbers = catfish.

Larry, I am on my way to Minnesota for a week to see the grand kids. Going to make a road trip in November. Going to see you at Larto, then going to swing east to Orange Beach, Alabama and see Orville.

One thing for sure Larry, those fish are not used to seeing those Shad Rap's. Black and white or black and chartreuse tubes work good there. Shiners also. Good luck. Y'all try to come see the crappie.com group, at the D'arbonne event next month.
