That area looks like it would be best for our group, kinda by ourselves and right next to the water.

We are in. Need a site with water and electric. We will probably stay a week or so in case others are interested in joining us. As I said, I grew up on the other side of the lake so there is lots to see and do for me that I have not done in a lot of years.

Hot tips, honey holes, and safe navigation maps will be 5.00 each!

Good point, Rich. When you post if you are coming, let me know for how long and the dates so I can get enough sites reserved for longer stays. I would rather reserve more sites for longer stays and cancel days if needed than not have enough sites/days reserved.

Rich, that secret lake sounds like a dynamite spot for some kayak fishing, trout too!

This looks like a great site. You can definitely count tyler and I in.

Also, I have one of the crappie.com banners.

I hope we can do as good of a job as you did last June, you set the bar high. Bring the banner with you to spring camp. Will you be needing a cabin or camp site?

Camp site and I'll have the banner. If you need any help just let me know. I'm always willing to help. And Rich is a great resource too. Everyone helped make that weekend happen proper. I'm looking forward to what you guys plan.

On a side note, I do know a honey hole of a lake about 5 miles away that is tucked back up in the woods with limited access. Last I remember, the pike and crappie fishing was dynamite!

Are you talking about Lemon Lake?

I Haven't been there in 5 or 6 years, but I have heard there are still nice crappie & bluegill, also pike. Lots of small pike, but some nice ones too.
Lot of people ice fish there also. Another lake to check out is Healy Lake, about 3-4 miles west of Lemon.

I'm definitely in on this one ....If you reserve the cabins, I'm good for one for sure. If you want to contact me on Jan.15, I'll reserve it then if they need my info. I need to get to more of these, love crappie but don't fish them enough. I'll bring plenty of walleye for fish fry, and some for good batch of these one day! ....
