Fantastic weekend! It was good to see some old, familiar faces and catch up on what's been happening. Fishing was tough with one day being a bust due to heavy winds but some fish were caught, stories (and lies?) were swapped, lots of great food consumed and a good time was had by all. I have to thank Gary and Tonda for turning me on to those lemon bars and caramel bars, man were they good.Thanks to everyone who showed up for liars club and those who were able to spend the weekend. It really was a good time.

What a great weekend.... Thanks Jerry for getting this organized and doing all the cooking/frying..it was great seeing everyone. I'm glad those that couldn't spend the weekend were able to stop by for liars club and the fish fry.... Steve, thanks for putting up with us in the boat. Luckily we didn't handicap you too bad on the way to your new title....?

A very special thank you to Jerry and Jeff for there work on the fall gathering. We had a good time and the food was great. I think Jerry had enough fried crappie to feed the entire campground. It was great. Nice seeing everyone !!

For those that didn't hear, Steve was crowned the Crappie King of the fall gathering, taking the throne from Oneida Eagle. We didn't really have an official fishing contest but someone had to be named Erin 2.0 and Steve was the perfect candidate. He caught (and almost landed) six crappie on Saturday, edging yours truly by one and Jeff by two. Jeff caught the biggest and I caught the first but Steve is the new King.
At the spring camp I shared a boat with the champ, Jeff, and I fished with the fall champ, Steve. I'm taking bids for my guiding service for spring 2019. You want to win, money talks.
