    Anyone catching Perch in Lake Michigan?

    Heard nothing from that side but they are catching perch both in Erie and Saginaw Bay.
    The older I get the more I realize the therapeutic benefits of fishing

    I have not heard any decent reports from South Haven, Grand Haven, Muskegon, Pentwater, Ludington, Onekema, or Frankfort.

    It normally takes a good east wind for a few days which warms the shore water followed by a good North or west wind to blow cool water back in. This will setup good perching for a few days. Other than that, the wait is on fow cooler water to bring them back in to placed like White Lake and Muskegon Lake to name a few.

    Sometimes we get those perfect conditions a few times a year. Other times, we don't get the for 3 or 4 years. I think that was the last time a good blow brought them in to Grand Haven.

    You could probably find them off shore but would take considerable looking. My hope with e decreasing Salmon population that perch numbers will improve along with smelt numbers. One can hope
