That's a nice haul for two hours. Glad you were able to get on Crooked, I've only been on it once but it sure looked good to me.
well , finally got my boat back with the new Suzuki installed .
very happy with the motor so far, very quiet and plenty of power.
still have some issues with keeping the front end from bouncing when I fill both livewells and add an extra person (and a dog) , still want to remove one battery (I have 4) and redistribute some weight to the front of the boat, that should help.
I took the wife and our dog over to crooked for a short evening trip and we managed to get 9 nice crappie.
all were caught on minnows around wood, a couple were very black , males.
three females with eggs , still at least a week or two from spawning.
we got there at 5:30 and left at 7:30.
wife hooked a big dogfish that gave her a real battle! I did not let him in the boat......retied.
all in all a good night.
fillet em n fry em

Yes, get the weight up front and drop battery number 4. Should help a ton.
Glad you like your motor so far.
