Steve, you get grouchy when you're sick. How do you think I felt after they came out with "American Pie"? Besides, if you were any of those characters, you'd be Jimmer.

Looks like we're gonna get a break from the bitter cold the start of next week. I plan on fishing a couple of days during the warm up so if anybody wants to meet up let me know. I would love to do Saginaw Bay but wouldn't attempt it without someone who knows the ropes.

    SpartanNation,

You think he is grumpy NOW, should see/hear him at 11:05pm, when he leaves his phone on accidentally next to the night stand...............
    Try it some night..............

SIDE NOTE for you only SpartanNation,
101 Days down, 264 more to go as the CO KING, of the Fall Crappie Camp.....

Figured I would remind you, as its pretty far into the year already........
Scary thought, we should draw once. Those with out boat, write the name on paper in a hat, those with boats draw a name.........

Good Lord, if we ended up on the same boat, no telling what would happen. Lady at bait store would be smiling, Steve would be smiling, You & I laughing, people wanting to know what going on, and Wilber shaved getting a sun burn chained to the Minnkota as a mock hood ornament.........

Things would NEVER be the same afterwards.......lol

We now have OE, he's good for several dozen a day.

Not sure if anybody noticed or not but it's cold outside. We just got good safe ice and I'm thinking about spring. After below 0 temps, low 20's will feel like a heat wave.

I think what you are seeing is views, not posts since this post is about #45 or so......but views are good too.

Grouchy eh? Maybe I need a Snickers bar or something......
I'm not really grouchy.....just not eloquent in the English vocabulary to sugar coat words. It's rare I ever get really mad too, aggravated maybe......like a text at 11:05 pm. That's OK OE, text anytime, ......I have a 92 year old dad and I never know when he may need a ride to the hospital so the phone is always on and nearby. Before my mom had to go into assisted living I would get calls at any hour from dad needing help getting mom an ambulance or a ride to ER. He lives about a mile away and relies on me, I have 2 brothers who are older than me. One lives in the UP and just doesn't get it that I could use the help,he rarely comes down. The other lives part time in Michigan and the other part in Nevada. At least he will fly home if he's needed to help out......so since I'm so close, the lions share of the responsibilities lie on me. Part of being "the good son".

Face it, You would miss me................

So much so, you would name the puppy OneidaMan, and put Superman Undies on him..........

Take him to Crappie Camps, teach him to do neat tricks, like Pee in Jerry's tent, Get him his own cell phone so he could have his own C.C Account. Then, You would would block him and admonish him, for no other reason than you MISS me............

Jerry could call him names, take him on trips through down town Ionia. Tell him stories of Tomcatting at Shirleys Backdoor in Ionia, on M66. Rich would try to eat him, thinking its food on a stick, & cry while telling the story of the legendary Ginger Stare off, on Saginaw Bay. Kevin would want to know if the puppy could make good jerky. Jimmy would give it $10 dollar bills, instead of $1, cuz from the above post he cant count & tell it all his secrets.

Although a word of warning, while the puppy is still small, the lights are dim, and its early morning, THOSE ARE NOT SNICKERS, DON'T EAT THEM.............

Old timer now living in Florida, stopping in the coffeehouse to say HI. Have a pot on from mornin til night, then complain the whole next day, cause I had to get up to pee every hour! Used to live in Western New York, between Buffalo and Rochester, many moons ago so I remember cold and lake effect snows.

Good morning. On my 2nd cup as we prepare to return home to SC from a visit to my son's family in Atlanta. Got really cold here yesterday, 9-11 degrees when we got up
Now I'm facing the thought of heading home into one of our larger snowstorms, in sunny SC no less.
