Aaron, we are so devious. I had the same thought. I'll give 6500 for it as it sits. 6500 soda cans.

If memory serves me, that boat sold for about 4g back in the 80s. Trackers sure hold their value in the south.

If however it was listed in Michigan, the person would be paying someone to take it!

My time down here is coming to a close. I'm heading home near the end of he week, probably Thursday morning. That means I have three more days to fish D'arbonne. I got two more long rods rigged today and moved two driftmaster rod holders from the back to the front so I'm going to attempt to fish 4 rods off the nose of the boat. The wind is going to be 6mph from the NE which is perfect for where I want to fish and I've learned the channel fairly well. I still have some shiners left but plan on picking up another 1/4 pound just to be safe. The moon phase is in my favor and major feeding periods are predicted for each morning. Stay tuned, this could get good. What could possibly go wrong?

Jerry, that question is usually famous last words! Regardless, I'm giddy with anticipation.

Today was a slow day. At 9am, a loud boom followed by a power outage occurred. Nothing more than a tripped transformer breaker caused by a squirrel committing suicide. That was fun.

Had a good visit from Steve and Judy. I forgot to go over your next YouTube project. I have a perfect one for you. I have been named his new marketing director so this should go well!

We did some horse trading. I had a tile saw that collects dust at my place. It has now rented space in Steve's garage. I guess when I need it, I'll borrow it back. On the return end, I got some nice walnut boards to rent space in my barn. Probably he will need walnut stock soon and be forced to borrow some back. Isn't that how it works? At least it should. When I grew up, you always checked with neighbors before trying to buy something. Things were simplified then.

I did get a new toy for my chainsaw. More to follow on that. Oh, I harnessed my inner Aaron and took a nap today. Sent a text to Kevin, even got dressed. Only left the house to take out the overflowing trash can. You know the one that has a mountain that cannot take one more item? I guess that is the game we played at the house today. Like Jenga, the last person that cannot balance a sliced cheese wrapper on the mountain must remove the trash! Payback was my failure to replace the bag. Couples married less than 10 years wouldn't understand those fun games we play.

Yeah, the what could go wrong was said knowing the answer is "everything".

By the way, guess who sent me a text last night. I'll give you a hint, she still owns an over priced Tracker. Let the fun begin. 50/50 that I'll get it for my price. I come from a long line of horse traders, too.

In the south, they are gold I guess. In the North, the name is associated with what the owner has to be in order to find someone to fix it or take it off your hands. Tracker: the art of buying something entry level until you can track down a much better product.

Never have I ever seen a company that, in theory, buys another boat company that "should" make their products better, only to throw tracker products and reputation on the new boats and make them worse!

Well I got home this evening from bunny hunting, had a good time the dogs ran very well just needed some snow. Was hard to see them till the last second. It was the first time this fall being out in the woods hunting , so with all the walking up the hill down the hill, thru the briars and thru the creek, I must say that was a very intense workout. A nap was needed upon arrival to the house, but before my mid day nap started I noticed a letter from the DNR addressed to me on the counter hum...... total surprise when I opened the envelope

First thought was , this is a funny joke that somebody has got me with, but then I thought, there’s only one name that pops up but he denies any involvement. I’ll take my NETMAN master angler patch and wear it proudly, lol.

    DejaVu?
That patch has more miles on it than a 1953 f-150.

I notice someone’s spelling has improved......

More miles than an F-150. I would have went a totally different direction on that one.

    Nice net skills Kev.
