Calm down Jerry. I used to live in a parish in La. called the gravel capital of the world. I once left a shop with a new windshield and only made it 1/4 mile before a gravel truck speeding by threw a gravel bullet at me. Went right back to the shop. Guess he had beat the insurance so bad on the first one, he gave me the second one for free. Trust me, I been all over this country. The roads are worse in south Louisiana than anywhere else overall.

Steve, did you get those weeds chopped down yet? I'm feeling like a fish fry.

I took the zero turn up to the Beats-a-Tent yesterday and mowed the weeds. Stopped at my sisters lot on Holland Lake and mowed her grass, too. That sure is a pretty spot for a camp out. If it wasn't for the fact that there is no water or sewer, just electric, I would have fall camp there.

Nope! But I did a little redneck engineering!

Sometimes you don’t need 3 rod holders

So I took a piece of aluminum I had collecting dust, laid it on the tailgate of my truck....clamped it down, scribed some lines

made 2 mounting pieces to fit the mounts for the 3 rod holder, carefully boring holes

then attached some Scotty rod holders my dad gave me (* note sentimental value attachment now added)

So now I’ve added an accessory item to my boat at no cost that is going to be handy when less is more!
