Steve,
They do have a warranty date on a lot of them. Larry ran in to the same issue and ended up sending them a message about it. Within a few days, they sent him a new one free of charge. Unfortunately, that one broke as well!
I can tell you that I own three bait coolers. All of the areators worked without issue BUT... once you bump one, drop one, or ect.... they stop working! I beleive it is in the switch mechanism as I found some issues playing with the one I dropped. I will let you all know if I find a solution (IE a different switch) when I find time to screw with it.
In the mean time, as I seem to collect those things, I put a Frabil on mine as well! Just as Gary and Larry have done. Along with several others.
I have a Frabill on mine as well, because I lost the original and I had a Frabill aerator on the bench.
I read it on Engels forum they would replace any defective one.....posted the response from Engel on a thread here somewhere....I guess if I drop one and it broke the switch that’d be operator error[emoji23]

I have taken a boat off a trailer to work on the trailer. Set it down on blocks in my shop. To put it back on I backed the trailer to it and winched it on. It worked better leaving the trailer hooked to my truck and the truck in neutral. If you try with just the trailer it wants to lift the front of the trailer up into the air. The truck keeps it down. Was not to hard. Hope he did not damage the bottom of the motor.
He's a Yooper. He was probably back on the water in 20 minutes.
You reckon it took him that long eh? [emoji23]

A few pictures from my last morning with Isla Jean. First she played with my lab, Knucklehead, then she sat on the deck with me and helped work on a siding bid, as you can see she didn't think much of my price, then we found a giant mushroom in the yard, next was checking out the trumpet vine and finally finding my first cucumber. They've only been gone two days and I'm missing them already.Attachment 310263Attachment 310264Attachment 310265Attachment 310266Attachment 310267
That was funny. Two weeks between them. I would guess they had just taken the boat out and were headed to the store for more beer.
