    Sparty,

I did not see any, and no one said “Look a dumb Pollock”

So there was no contact. My Ginger senses did not go off, so there were no other Gingers nearby either.

Swapping out fishing gear for Fireworks gear.

    Then a long night sleep.

Great job Aaron. The more you go, the more you learn.

The best way I taught Kevin was to run bottom bouncers on your back corners as down rods. No boards needed.

3oz works best. Spool until it hits bottom. If you hit tge clicker it will run about 1 to2 feet off the bottom, of you let out line until it hits again, it will tick bottom. Run if for the 3rd time, it will drag bottom. We run it the last way most of the time.

That said, Tuesday and today were not good for me for harnesses. I think we might have ran them an hour today before cranks.

Purple flash, purple passion, and prime time have been best the last two trips followed by slick bangle and copperhead.

55, 60, 70 early then 80, 90, 95, and 105 later. Copper was better today in the afternoon.

    Default Uncle Don's coffeehouse 2018

We had Flickers @ 81, and took Fish.

    Ready to laugh?

Was on the phone with Skillet. Told him I had B.B. back 103 foot on the line counter.

I think I heard him laughing across the bay. When I told him it took fish he said something along the lines of “Adjective, Verb, Lucky, Noun”

We actually got about 4 of our 12 on that out 103 foot....... lol

I’m using a Down Rigger rod for Salmon, and there’s not allot of feel.

Going to try and use a alternate rod tomorrow.

Worse car scenario, I dredge a new river channel with 103 foot of line again.......... lol

Largest was 22 inches. Smallest was thrown back multiple times.

Couple junk fish, maybe 5 total.

    Oh, forgot,

The DNR Launch was full, so the lady there had me park on the grass, over the curbs.

I thought of Steve and asked if I would get a ticket. She laughed at me.

So I shoved the trailer & truck into a spot where it fit.

Stupid thing was, there were about 5 single cars that were using a full slot.

Funny. What weight bouncer? 3/4 oz!

As the day progresses, don't be afraid to get bigger flicker setbacks.

Or, you are familiar with spoons, run them on dipsys or riggers! Same as Samon. Short leads on the riggers just off bottom. 2.2 to 2.5 to start.

Anyone who has not seen the Bay City Fireworks Festival, on it’s final day, it’s worth the trip and time to stay up and watch.

I got a 2 Daughter thumbs up, and request to see them again next year.

We took the boat up the Saginaw River, just up stream of the Liberty Bridge.

Was spectacular to watch from the water.
