I did the detox before , now I'm adding it to the smoothie. I feel a boost of energy and it keeps me pretty full longer so I spend less and I'm not eating all that fast food.

I stepped outside with the dog at 4:30 and found the conditions were perfect for worming. Rain had stopped and no wind. Got a headlamp and a bucket and went to work. I can honestly say I have never had the night crawlers so cooperative. Usually they scoot back down their hole when the light hits them or if they feel your footsteps but today they were not as wary. Worked at it for less than an hour and got a summers worth of bait. At 3.00 a dozen it was an hour well spent. Now it's time for a cup of coffee.

Up and waiting to take the little one to school. Then it is off to a place I don't want to go to perform something I don't want to do. Nasty 4 letter word. If it is half as bad as yesterday, it could be a decent day.

I've never had crawlers so thick in my yard. I don't know if it's that this was the first warm rain or all the dog crap in my yard made the ground fertile but they were everywhere. I think I'll get some more tonight.

Mines perking. Top of the stove 2 quart percolator I found at a garage sale. Makes great coffee.

Worm hunting was tougher this morning. The wind had them skittish and tucked deep in the grass. I gave it 20 minutes before quitting. I got maybe 5 dozen so it was still a decent haul. I guess one advantage to not being married is I can keep a cooler of crawlers in the fridge without getting in trouble.
