    Default Camping Trip.

Just got back from our trip on the Au Sable River. Fishing wasn't too good on the river, so we loaded the boat up and went to the place we were at last week. We caught a lot of Perch and kept 17. Sandy(once again) caught the biggest, this 12" beauty.Name: 001.jpg

Man what I wouldn't give to be retired!!! Glad you had a good time and your health is finally allowing you to enjoy the finer things in life! Dad and mom will be down in our neck of the woods very soon. Closing on their house is supposed to be at the end of the month. Then I will have my hunting and fishing buddy back and don't need to wrestle up someone to go with me all the time!

Dad is doing the Spring Crappie Camp and I will help him get all that started/going. Not sure where he wants to have it but one of the things he mentioned was trying to find something "Mid State". Maybe a different area than Hardy this year. Not sure, I'll let him decide. If anyone has any good ideas on a lake, let me know!

That's a dandy perch. Sounds like a good camping trip all in all.
It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D
