FlyFisherman,
Post a photo of it when you get a chance. Also post a photo of the eyes that are on it and the wrap. Sometimes I can tell from the eyes what rod it was. Lots of times I can tell from the wrap color and pattern.
During that timeframe, many of the rods where built by one company and then sold to different shops. I usually know the colors of the rods just by looking at them. Like a Shakespeare "wonder" rod is usually white. They also had fly rods of the same color. Then they switched over to a brown type color... then it was a see through orange (I have the wonder rod in spinning, a fly rod, a brown spinning rod, and the see through flyrod). I like the history of the rods. Pretty interesting to me. Many of mine have been in my family for years. Others I found at garage sales. Nothing like an old glass rod in my opinion. They are a little heavy at times, but I love the action! Make the best perch rods out there.

wicklundrh here is a photo of the rod best I could come up with. windings look to be combo of red/black
Wow, that rod is a little earlier than I first thought. I do see issues with the design however. It is missing an eye between the feral and what is now the Second eye. Also could use another eye between the tip. If you run line out and bend this rod it will have pretty sharp angles instead of a rounded bend in the line. Some chaffing points for sure.
The eyes appear to be the same ones Shakespeare and Fenwick used to use but I suspect that several companies did at that time. I'm at a loss on that one. I'll have to dig in the archives and see what I can come up with. I've never actually had my hands on that particular color combination. Cool rod!
