That's a goodun Steve, but I think you'll need some pipe insulation, say 2 or 3", to fit. JMHO.

    Angry

Shins scarred up from banging them on the hitch. If you start cussing it before you get to the truck? It will help remind you to be careful. Now, if I could quit hitting my head on the 5th. wheel.

    Tired of a wind tunnel?

I “borrowed” this idea from Dale.....maybe he got it from Rich....

I wanted thicker plexiglass but I went with what the local hardware store had.

Bent it where it needed to be using a heat gun, then added a stiffener to the backside. Used paper binder clips, small bungee strap and one of those wire shelf supports on each side to fasten it.

Put a large decal to hide stiffener and warp spot from using too much heat.

Add extra sticker cause you support product (I.e. pro staff)

And there you have it..... redneck wind tunnel blocker.

Prototype broke first trip out, rebuilt it using 1/4” Plexiglass and no wood backer

I figured you might have an issue with the thinner glass.

Dad's original idea was canvas like we used to have years ago. Brainstorming ended up with the plexiglass idea. Of course, everytime I would run up or down the river in the spring, he would always talk about how nice it would be to have one. Then he makes one for himself!!!

Funny thing, I just throw one of my fishing bags in the space and it blocks the hole off perfectly. People would be amazed at how much air comes through there.

Few times I used my Ram trooling motor stabilizer I'm finding it to be a pain always un screwing the clamp and removing the arm or tightening the arm back down so I picked up a simple rubber clamp and mounted it to a old fish finder ram plate that I cut to sizeName: clamp-.gif
