Tried the Mr. Clean magic eraser on the dock rubs. It worked great, took off 5 yrs. worth of them off the boat. Thanks for the advice.

Pretty nice set up there,my friend,...and that Evinrude motor looks good on there. I currently have a 1973 Sea Nymph 14R "Big Water" boat that has
anchor mates fore and aft,nav lights, and horn. My rig is powered by an 18 HP
Evinrude Fastwin made about the same time yours was. For a 1973 rig, mine is
in pretty good shape for her age.
This stuff works great to remove rubs on decals or aluminum. goo gone

Usually, a good truck repair shop that has a huck gun with 3/16 huck pins or bolts. The pin or bolt looks like a rivet but has a collar that fits over the mandrel or shank. The gun compresses the metal to what ever the air pressure is set for, then the gun shears off the mandrel above the collar. The collar sticks up no more than a 1/4". A sealant is sqeezed between the metal layers before gun is used.
