First things first, I need a warm day to get over and pull a wheel, and hub so as I know what I need. Being pulled in several directions right now on things in life's path, and no matter how important or high on MY to do list this is, it is not so high on miss Joyce's list. We all know if momma isn't happy, we wont be either...But, the first dry warm day I get, I'm off her radar for a little while.

Been burning some braincells thinking on this. This is a 16ft bass boat, with a 65hp on the back. It was originally rated for a 115hp, and has an aluminum fuel tank to support the big motor. I'm thinking it would have the heavier 3500lb axle under it, when those little Harbor Freight fold up trailers have the 2000# axles...just my thoughts on it.

Sounds like you may benefit from going with a new "Hub Kit" for each wheel. Boats.net has tons of 'em, and are helpful over the phone. Prices are not that bad. Just a moment...
Thanks Jamesdean thanked you for this post

I wish someone would find the Pilot light and get it relit...I really would like to work on my boat, and not having an inside space to do it is killing me. Currently 14* with a feel like 4* is really hindering me. It's suppose to get upto around freezing today, so if someone knows where the pilot lite can be lit at let me know, PLEASE. The next few days are going to be even more brutal.

Yep, after freezing cold tonight and tomorrow we are expecting 12"-16" of the white stuff. Maybe not much for you all farther north, but a big delay for me working outside unprotected...Just wish the NC courts and the Navy would pay us for the damage they one to us. I mean, it only took them from 1956 to 2022 to admit they were killing us with the heavy metals and chemicals in the water at Camp Lejeune, NC, why should we expect to get paid for it...

Can't help with the weather. Got 3" on the ground this morning and 20*, 25* later. 13 to 15 mph wind.
I got new hub sets from ebay at a good price.

Thank you canebreaker, just woke up after a very long night and a couple hours of sleep. Yes Sir a very cold end to winter all around. We aren't as bad as some, but for around here it's bad. 1015Am and it's 4* with a feels like of -12, wind a steady 13 from the North. A foot of snow outside. High today a solid 13 they're predicting. Thank you on the info of Ebay. I'm gonna pull the hub when everything thaws out, and check out Hitch 2 Trailer here in town. If he don't have what I need, then I'll start with the options. Reason for going to Hitch 2 Trailer is if he has them, I can make immediate comparison, and put it back together only once instead of doing it multiple times. I do thank you and everyone who has offered an option. Eric.

Not as bad here today, 15 might see 23 later, N 9 mph wind. I've got to go to West clinic about noon to have portable chemo pack removed. It will beep when it's finished. Need to do a little shopping while out too. These chemo treatments every 2 weeks wear me out and I freeze for a few days after each. Got 2 more in March to go. Good thing I have lots of indoor projects to work on in the comfort of my bed. My feeding tube fell out Monday evening while in the shower so I spend most of the night in ER having it removed and checked out. Can't stitch the holes, got to let them drain and heal. Got to watch what I eat and very little.
The project I'm working on now is resizing rifle brass for .410 shotgun. Just finished punching 7/16" cardstock and cardboard circles to be used as wads and over cards. Once I get everything set up it will be turned over to my 13 and 10 year old granddaughters for their new hobby and shooting time.

I'm glad your almost through with chemo. Praying for you Canebreaker. My mom went through Chemo and radiation at the same time. Wasn't good. Good to hear your still active, it helps.

i was awake at 6am this morning and checked the temp. Mean air was -6 with the wind chill down to -24. I was supposed to go for some blood work for my annual with my primary care at the VA clinic, but rescheduled...To cold for me. Currently its 13* and wind chill down to 2*. Didn't want to but got out and cleared a path from the door across the porch and down and around the car. Tomorrow will be the rest of the porch, and work in the Laundry room. My sweethearts washing machine took a dump and ruined that rooms floor. So they going out, the floor gets replaced, and she gets new machines. Can't complain, those two she got 25 yrs ago so I think it's time.
