That's awesome. Glad some companies still look after their customers.
Not sure how I pulled off this bonehead damage to my Ultrex I Pilot Link cable but I inadvertently partially cut it as you can see in the photo below.
I contacted MK Johnson and found out the cost of replacing one of the cables was $30.00 and the entire head unit cover and cables was $309.00. I had to take pictures of the damage and send it in so MK could determine which I needed. Wouldn’t you know it I had to have the $309.00 part.
The customer service fella got one in the mail to me at no chargeas a one time replacement saying to me we understand things happen and we are happy to be able to help. All I have to do is send the damaged part back to them with the prepaid
label they provided. They mailed it Monday and the new unit arrived yesterday via USPS.
Took about a half hour or so to get it installed and the boat is read to go.
So thankful to MK Johnson for sending me the new part at no charge to me. God has blessed me once again.

That is awesome. With some many companies finding new and creative ways to lose customers. It is good to know there are companies out there that will go the extra mile to take care of their customers

I had trouble with the Terrova on my last boat. I called & spoke with a guy who was a great help to me diagnosing & finally repairing it.
Great company to deal with & I will be a lifetime customer because of it.

No I can’t figure it out but I wrapped my cables and will exercise more caution when stowing the TM. I suspect I pinched it while stowing the motor.

I’m a huge fan of great customer service and reasonable customers. I think it’s nice in todays world when a business and a customer with problems can get on the phone and treat each other with respect.
The next time I’m in the market for a trolling motor I’ll definitely start with Minn Kota!
