Thread: 2001 Express x18 - deck width

Good evening crappie junkies. I currently own a 95' Nitro 190DC with a 150hp EFI. It is a great boat and works for the most part. "The Most Part" is what has me searching for a different boat. My issue is rod storage and space on the front deck. I've installed Millennium rod racks and still don't like the fit of my rods and boat. If I weren't spider rigging, I wouldn't worry to much, but even 12' rods take up real-estate my Nitro lacks. My largest issue is storing my rods down the center or in the racks that block my view off the starboard side. Storing them down the center causes a tripping hazard and then I have to worry about me or a passenger stepping on one and breaking it.

To my point...

What is the deck width on an x18? I would like to know the width where the deck starts from the seats and where the front vee starts.

Upgrading is going to cost me some money and I see the deck and being the reason for spending my money.

Where these red lines are will work great!
