Default 2005 25 hp Johnson problem

I have a 2005 25 hp Johnson that cranks and runs good for 5-10 minutes then "bogs" down and won't get back on plane. The motor can be difficult to crank if you shut it off after this happens. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks

Is the primer bulb tight after it bogs down?

I was thinking fuel related. Sounds like it maybe a coil pack breaking down.
It has to cool down before it runs correctly again

    Do a compression test first.

Check the vent on your fuel tank. If it's stopped up, it can produce the very symptoms you're describing.

It has gotten me a time or two over the years. Look back and see the primer bulb collapsed

Check the inside of your fuel lines for decomposition they will crumble and plug it
