    Has anyone tried using the liquid transom repair products ?

    I have not tried it. I have watched several videos on it. It does seem to be a viable option.

    Get your transom fixed right is the best way

    Watched a video on a boat rebuild for an aluminum boat. They put an aluminum insert in place of the wood.

    My aluminum Sea Ark does not have any wood....all aluminum. Transom is super stout.

    I haven't patched a transom... but I tore one completely out one time and replaced it with composite decking board and marine plywood.
    I believe it would have withstood a direct torpedo strike to the stern after that, and it never again leaked a single drop.

    I never thought about the composite deck boards, is it like the ones you get like at Lowe's or Home Depot?
