    Default New boat opion

I am tired of patching my boat.
    Gonna keep my 75hp Optimax.

I am seriously looking at putting a deposit on a war eagle Blackhawk. Now here's the dilemma.

Price difference for a 17 foot and using my old trailer versus a 19 ft and new trailer is 3800$. Keep in mind I will be pushing it with the 75hp for a few years. But I don't travel far by water at most 5 miles in one stretch.

What's y'all's opion. Either way. Any recommendations?

Might be possible to sale the old boat and trailer to recoup some of the difference if the 19' is more to your liking

    Solid point.
Is it legal to run a 19' with a 75hp

I'll take any and all comments from here. But in the morning it's a done deal. Y'all convinced me. I will patch it and pump it till it comes in. But 961 and trailer it is. May be here to pull cranks this summer

The hull patches Good. High frequency Al tig. Next week it opens up where the weld stops. Shop owner is a friend of mine. He charges me the same 100$/hr. Business is Business. He said quit wasting my money and his time.

Chasing cracks in welds can be a full time job.

I cut the floor out my Triton to where I could get at my worst crack. I literally took a 1/16 drill bit and drilled both sides of the crack to stop it from running. Gotta make it last till spring..... PS guys I'll have a good deal coming up in a hull & trailer soon. Gonna bill it as the cleanest inside hull and bilge in the states. It gets washed frequently. LoL
