Thread: trolling motor and mount

any thoughts on the Newport Vessels NV Series 46lb trolling motor, going to mount it on the transom, and would like to modify the mount if i should hit a stump ect, to kick up out of the way.

I have not heard of the brand but they are everywhere when you look them up. Looks to be a copy of a minkota. Possibly made in the same factory
