I had the small T type in my Xpress and water got past. Been using the ones that have the shank with a ring on the end, and no water. They twist tight just the same, but then you flip the lever and they lock tight. A good test is to pull on the plug once it is in place. If you can pull it out it is not good. This advice from a man that put his plug into the livewell drain hole and went fishing.

    Nice boat.
Maybe they will bite this one……

I use the twist type and I always “pretighten” it until it goes in my tracker snugly then I tighten it up. By pretighten I mean twist it while holding the brass circular part while twisting the “t handle”. I too have extra plugs in the glove box of my truck and Jeep just in case. Beautiful boat! Tight line to ya!

Have you considered going with a remote drain plug?
Several new boats come with these now.

Man O Man I am jealous, your boat is what I am wanting to buy as my retirement boat. My issue is no dealers have them in stock around Ohio. How do you like the stability of the boat? I am in a Tracker pt175 and if my 45lb dog walks from one side to the other you can feel the boat rock, plus I am done with 2 stroke motors. Congrats
