    You need with that seat that far up, a extension.

    No extension needed . Have to have seat all the way over to clear seat . picture is misleading .

    I consider that to be normal, every boat that I've been in does it.

    Check that it is riding level or close to it. On my rig a hard list will cause it to pull where it otherwise wouldn't, and make sure that the motor is centered on the transom side to side, and not angled.

    Transducers can cause it as well.
