Default Best way fix Tracker Boat Seat with splits in it.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to fix the seat part. Can I buy just a bottom part? I haven't found them on Amazon or Walmart. I guess the seat has too many splits in it to fix. I'd be happy to spend as little as possible. Thanks for any tips.

You can buy new ones that match fairly well with color for less than you would spend to fix the old ones. Should be able to get seats as cheap as $50 new!

Repairing didn't look easy. Surprised I can't find just the bottom cushion. It would seem to save $ especially on shipping. At least I can see reviews on Amazon.

On a previous boat, several years ago, I asked their parts department and they sold just the skins. Rip the old cover off, put the new cover over the old foam, and staple into place. The skins were cut and sewn already.

Interesting. It was Tracker? Thanks for the info.

All seats have a pile of skins pre made and they just assemble them. Whether you can access to the supplier of those skins is the question. Your foam looks good so a new skin would be an option. An upholsterer could tell you also if they could make a set of skins for you, cuz it is just disassembling the existing skin to use as a pattern to cut the new material and having the right machine to stitch it together.

I filled out Trackers Customer Support form asking but didn't hear back. I filled it out again and still nothing. I'll try calling before giving up on that route.

I’m wondering if the skins will be cheap enough to make the effort worthwhile.
