Looks like it's in very nice shape, well kept.

It's gonna be slow with that 9.9. That size boat would be much better off with a 25-35, if it's rated for it.

Send the seller a message for a picture of the data plate, it likely has the model on it.

I suspect it is a pretty standard 1648, 48" across on the floor, with a beam around 60-72".

I have a Tohatsu around that same vintage it looks like. Not sure the age of the motor but mine is a 1987. I would also find out about the motor because there are a lot of things such as carburetor parts that you can no longer get.

I would say 60 to 65 inches.......had a Fisher Marsh Hawk for 19 years and it was one tough boat. I bet it's rated for a 50.

Looks like it was originally designed a stick steer and somebody just slapped a motor on it. Ain't nothing wrong it I've done. Sometimes buying things that old are just buying someone else's problem. I ain't saying this is the case here but it could be. I had an 89 Johnson 60hp that had a 45 hp bored out. I could fix anything on it. But parts became scarse or non existent. Somewhere there is a better boat for the same money.
    IMO

    Good luck

That boat needs a lot bigger motor unless your going to fish lakes with restricted horsepower rules
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I had one spitting image of that one, minus the middle seat, 25 years ago. It was a 1648, had a 15 hp Johnson on it. By myself it was ok if I needed to git quick but, if I had a passenger I had to pay closer attention to weather and such. A 25hp would have been perfect. They are great boats in my opinion, wish I still had mine, I would have converted to a stick steer.

i currently have a 14ft alumnacraft v boat, i bought it with a 25hp yamaha, sold the motor due to 10hp max where i like to fish, so i am going to look for a 4 stroke 9.9 elec start or just sell this boat and look for a mod v hull jon type, i much prefer these types of boats, they seem to be more stable when still fishing, and this boat is a deep v hull to reach overboard for a fish is getting old, i was so use to my 85 bass tracker i had years ago, still looking for a 16ft bass tracker type boat with tiller rather than a console. i like alot of room in the boat.

Personally, I like the boat and the layout. The motor is possibly a to hats up who made them for Nissan some years. If it says 9.9 it will meet the lake restrictions as there aren’t any markings on most carbs to say it is any different. I have a 1648 with a 74, 15hp evinrude and while not a giant powerhouse it moves along fine by myself. That’s a buy boat to my way of thinking.
