Chet, I work on boats here in N.C., I can say, here at shop we'll get 100 or so small motors 25hp to 5 hps per year. And only maybe 1 tohatsu a year, Nissan the same. Only cause they have set up for yrs.

Chet, see if they price match onlineoutboards.com that’s where I got my 9.9

The price for the Merc listed above is good if that is OTD, good luck.

online outboards seem high, and plus shipping, i think Bass Pro Shop is the better deal , plus when i called and asked if it came in the box or was it set up, they said call the day before and they will service it fill it with oil ect, and test run it.

They may have gone up in price since I bought mine last year. Mine was within $100 of the price Bass pro is giving you delivered to my door. There is no shipping cost, but there is sales tax. I also bought mine during an outboard shortage because of COVID and bass pro didn’t have any at that time. If you order a new 9.9 all you do is add about a quart of oil and it will Fire first pull. At least that’s my story..good luck! Fish on!
