    Default Alumabrite

I plan on using aluminum cleaner on an older aluminum boat im restoring. The boat has carpet that is in decent shape on all aluminum decks. My question is if I clean aluminum inside the hull like the console and face of my decks will the alumabrite damage my carpet or the glue bond between carpet and decks?

I’d be careful. Remember it is an acid. Might not hurt binding agent holding carpet but sure might bleach it out. I’d find a out of the way spot and try a dab to see what it does.
