Any chance it partially sheared the flywheel key and is out of time?

The shop said they found that a rubber bushing had come loose and jammed the shift throttle cable. They replaced the bushing and adjusted the shift and throttle cable. I filled the gouge in the skeg and cleaned up the edge of the skeg with a file and then repainted it. It ends up that all I really hurt was the prop. I got it home and put it on muffs and it starts and idles fine. Hope to get it to the lake next week and run it hard and see how it holds up. It wasn't all bad. I got new lower unit lube which was due anyway and a compression check which I have wanted to do for awhile.
