    Default 3 bank charger

I have a 3 bank 18amp dual pro charger. Came with the boat and us a light duty sealed(non repairable) charger. It appears that one of the banks has gone bad. I have swapped the leads around and have checked and swapped fuses. Still that bank remains dead. Last ditch effort I am going to bypass the fuse pods to isolate that.

Any advice is appreciated. Also anybody know of any good deals if I have to go that route. I like johnson electronics but am not brand loyal by any means.

    Thanks
    Chad

Cheaper isn’t better most time ! I bought that exact charger and it didn’t last but until just after warranty went out . I purchased a Noco and was very well pleased with it . If you could hold the Noco in one hand and the promariner in the other you would be able to tell how much better made one was from the other !

I've had excellent results from Promariner chargers.

My pro Mariner has been hooked up in my boat for over 6 years. Plugged in 24/7 all this time and never a problem. They aalso make the bass pro chargers and there are a ton of those sold. With as many as they build Nd sell bound to have some go bad but you really see very little complaints about them. NoCo is a great charger as is Dual Pro.

I have one in the boat I bought. It seems to work fine. The boat is a 2014 and if it didn't come stock, I figure the original owner put it in pretty quickly after buying. It's that same charger.

I have a Promariner. I did have an issue with it, but it was easily resolved with a call to tech support.

When I was looking, it seemed like all had their fair share of bad reviews.
